The architectural concept of Grma Residence is shaped as a harmonious composition of two contemporary buildings, forming a clearly recognizable yet unobtrusive residential complex. The volumes are carefully articulated and positioned to follow the natural slope of the terrain, creating a dynamic architectural composition that feels stable, calm, and confident.

The buildings are designed with a clear intention of opening views towards Zagreb, using the elevated location above the city as a key architectural asset. Orientation to the south and southwest allows for maximum use of natural light throughout the day, while panoramic views become an integral part of the everyday spatial experience.

Terraces and loggias as an extension of living space

All terraces are designed as spacious, open outdoor areas with unobstructed views of the city. At any time of day, from morning light to evening and nighttime panoramas, the views from the terraces provide a powerful and emotional experience, transforming them into an equal extension of the living space.

Facade brick as the finishing layer and identity of the buildings

Both buildings are clad in facade brick as the final exterior finish, a material that defines the character of the project and gives it a timeless architectural expression. Brick introduces a sense of durability, stability, and refined texture, while emphasizing the contemporary, minimalist design of the volumes.

The use of facade brick:
